• Mrs Joseph was restless as soon as Maxton and Belle left. She saw the way Maxton had behaved toward Belle and she knew without a doubt her son was in love with the girl.
• Other than the fact that Belle was a human and that she had always wanted Willow as a daughter-in-law, she did not see anything wrong with Belle. She seemed like a nice girl.
