Chapter 20 Mission X

• Teja hadn't come home last night, this Belle noticed as she woke up and found out she was all alone. She picked up her phone to call her and then saw the text Teja had left telling her not to wait up for her. As if she could've even done that, Belle thought with a small smile.
• It was five in the morning and she could already hear people moving about. New York was a whole lot different from L.A where life started quite later in the day. In New York people were always moving around no matter the time of the day.
• Belle had always been an early riser though and this was partly because of her multiple jobs and to check on Landon's health condition. Back home, she would wake up as early as five to enjoy the peace and quiet before she had to leave for her first job which must be done before eight o'clock when a different job started. Here in LA, she had no job to go to so early in the morning. So she decided to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet but in but that was an experience she couldn't enjoy in New York.
