Chapter 23 A Stellar Performance

• "Why will he possibly want to do that?!" Teja asked quietly. She couldn't even yell, this whole affair was way too overwhelming for her.
• "Well, he said he'd feel safer if I was with him and not alone in the house. Remember you're supposed to be in the hospital... " Belle said carefully. She knew any wrong move on her part could jeopardise the deal she'd already made with Teja and she'd lose.
• Teja glared at her through half-open eyes and just walked away. She was only doing this because of Landon she reminded herself as she tried to calm her anger and the fact that Belle had had enough tragedy in life.
