Chapter 19 Becoming Stronger

• Belle lay on the couch enjoying the last slice of pancake as she threw it into her mouth. The Kardashian show was just over and botched was on. They were showing how the doctors were trying to help a woman fix her falling silicon boobs.
• Belle was the least bit interested in what was playing. She was just lifelessly staring while she enjoyed her pancakes and her head roamed around her thoughts.
• She had to be more careful with the things she told Maxton, she thought. She had to be more mindful of the lies she told so as not to contradict herself. She also had to make simple lies as complicated ones would be harder to remember and would smell fishy to Maxton's intelligent brain.
