• "I have missed you so much," Maxton said as he kissed Belle on the cheek and handed her a bouquet.
• "Me too," Belle answered and then reached up to grab Maxton's retreating face for a full-on kiss on the lips. "Thank you for the flowers," She said when they ended the kiss. "How was work today?" She asked.
• "Great. It would have been better if you had come with me to work. But you refused," Maxton said with a long face.
