Chapter 82 It’s Bowing to You

• I beat up both John and Monke, and it felt great. Well, at least, I didn’t have to live in frustration anymore. After going back to the break room and changing into my clothes, I left the Emperor Relaxation Center. I wanted to go back to Angelina’s place, but then I ditched the idea, since I felt embarrassed.
• She did put me here and asked me to work my way up, but now, not only did I beat my boss up, I messed up my colleague too. I didn’t regret it one bit though, for that was how I led my life. I would either die, or I would live to fight another day. When I went past a barbecue stall, I sat down, got myself some beer and meat skewers, and started barbecuing.
• I was in the middle of barbecuing when a decade-old Santana stopped beside me. Alex then came out and sat across from me. He didn’t say anything and started eating and drinking the moment he came down. “Why did you come out for me instead of going on with your shift?”
