Chapter 70 This Woman Is So Nice
- I’d initially thought that this woman was happy when she’d laughed, and I could then communicate with her normally to remedy the sorrow within her and find out why she was merely existing, devoid of life. However, after she’d finished laughing, she reverted to her lifeless state. Even if I were a psychologist, I couldn’t cure someone’s silence, let alone when I wasn’t a psychologist in the first place.
- After soaking for about an hour, she stepped out of the bathing pool and went to the shower to wash up. I truly wanted to see whether this woman who’d brought her own bikini had brought Head & Shoulders or Rejoice for her shampoo, but reality proved that she wasn’t that comprehensive. “You may leave.” She kicked me out after she’d finished showering. This was easy money, for I’d just sung a portion of a song and watched a beauty soak in the bathing pool for over an hour, then it was over. I walked out of the room, but I lingered for a brief moment when I was about to close the door. I originally wanted to advise her that everything in life could be resolved, but I then felt that it was somewhat pointless since some words wouldn’t be well received when one’s relationship with the other wasn’t at that particular point yet. Thus, I shut the door and left.
- When I returned to the lounge, Alex had already arrived, and the other masseurs subsequently arrived, one after another. “Not bad. This is just your second day, and you’ve already learned to come early and leave late?” Monke remarked. I ignored him, for he harbored resentment over the fact that he didn’t get a single client last night, and I’d even received an early job on this day, so he was jealous. Such biting words filled with aggressiveness and mockery wasn’t much of a deterrence to me despite making it clear that he regarded his colleagues as his enemies.
