Chapter 145 The Call Went Unanswered
- Angelina once told me that I’d encounter all kinds of women and experience various situations while at the bottom of the industry. I believed her, but I wasn’t wholly convinced, because I thought that women only needed some placation since their problem was nothing more than the usual trivial stuff such as relationship woes. From the look of things now, however, Eliana was obviously not a woman who could be handled by mere placation. She wasn’t giving me trouble, nor was she coercing me. Instead, she was even giving me freedom of choice.
- My veritable problem now, however, was her intent to commit suicide. I can’t sway her overnight with feelings to not commit suicide.
