Chapter 14 You’re Really Killing Me Here

• Ultimately, Hannah released her hold. Otherwise, I’d really be in extreme agony from having to stifle my desires tonight. She then wanted to stay overnight to look after me, but I declined. Nonetheless, it had no effect on her at all, for she was obviously bullying the patient. Fortunately, she received a call from an old man, so she had to leave, promising that she’d come and visit me again another day. Before leaving, she handed me a bank card, which I wasn’t allowed to refuse. It was the same card as before and had no pin. However, I didn’t plan on using it. Instead, I was planning on returning it to her the next time she came.
• At 10:00 in the night, a nurse came to make the rounds. After that, I was just about to sleep when the door of the hospital room was pushed open. The person who walked in was Zoey.
• “The nurse had been here to make the rounds just now.”
• “Why, am I not allowed to come and make the rounds again? This is my territory, after all.” Zoey moved a chair over and sat down beside me. She then asked me if I wanted some water, but that struck immense fear in me, for if I were to drink more water, I’d really pee my pants. Meanwhile, she was on duty tonight, but things were calm, so she came over to chat with me for a while. As we chatted, the conversation went back to the good olden days.
• “Back then, I remember many boys in the school pursuing me, but the only one I was interested in was the boy who’d carried me on his back. However, you’d never looked at me and didn’t seem at all bothered about me. I’d even nursed a broken heart over it for a very long time. Thinking back on it now, my adolescent thoughts back then were truly juvenilely adorable!”
• I was stunned. Then, regret assailed me. “When did I not look at you? At that time, there were so many people pursuing you. Some of them were better-looking than me, and many more were from a wealthier family. Meanwhile, I was merely a socially awkward guy, so how was I worthy of you? I didn’t even dare confess to you, but I had a crush on you for three years until you gained admittance to a university, and we parted ways. I’d even deliberated whether I should go and wait for you at the entrance of your university to create a chance meeting.”
• Zoey chuckled. “Then, is this you creating a chance meeting now?” I was rendered speechless. 18 slashes in exchange for a chance meeting? That’s too high a price to pay.
• We then talked about a lot of things. She now had a boyfriend, and he was also a doctor here in this hospital. Furthermore, they even seemed to be nearing the stage of marriage, which was truly enviable. Nevertheless, watching helplessly as a beauty climbed into another man’s bed was undoubtedly never a good thing.
• At about 11:00, Zoey got up to leave, so I climbed down the bed to see her off. While she declined, I insisted. Then, she somehow slipped and pinned me to the bed. The pain from the slash wounds on my back was so intense that I grimaced in pain, but in the next instance, her petite mouth fused against mine, and her firm, ample bust pressed firmly against my chest. The warm lips and alluring body had my control instantly slipping, and my body naturally responded in kind. I didn’t know which part of her it was prodding against, but her face turned bright red, and she hastily scrambled up. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I slipped. It wasn’t deliberate.”
• I wanted to apologize as well and explain that I didn’t get hard on purpose, but this wasn’t something that one could simply blurt out. Thus, I could merely look on as Zoey beat feet out of my hospital room, her face flushed. That night, I was utterly tormented by the pain from the slash wounds on my back and chest in addition to the burning fire within me. Even after much tossing and turning, I just couldn’t sleep. Several times, I even contemplated asking Zoey for some sleeping pills.
• In the end, I finally fell asleep amidst my struggles although I didn’t know when I dozed off. When I next woke up, it was a blushing nurse who’d awakened me, asking me to take my medicine. It’s just taking medicine. Why are you blushing? I’m not about to take Viagra to serve you. However, when I glimpsed the huge tent at my crotch, I knew why she was blushing, and even I myself could feel my face heating up. This is just too damn awkward! “I’m sorry, really sorry. This is truly not intentional on my part. You studied medicine, so you know how it has a life of its own in the morning…”
• The nurse shyly murmured an acquiescence before beating a hasty retreat after handing my medicine to me. Hey, you should at least give me some water to take my medicine. Are you asking me to chew them dry?
• Just when I was about to pour myself a glass of water, Alice arrived, surprising me greatly. How did she know that I’m in the hospital?
• “Miss Holman said that you’re in the hospital and had me come to take care of you for two days. What happened to you?”
• Sure enough, it’s Angelina. Her concern was such that one just couldn’t refuse her goodwill. Irrefutably, it was much more convenient with Alice here, for I had someone getting me water and hot meals. The only thing was that she had the same problem with Hannah when it came to me going to the washroom. She just had to stay there with me, but thankfully, she didn’t make a move. Otherwise, if I were to stay another day in the hospital, my bladder would probably explode from me holding back my pee.
• “Is this your girlfriend?” Zoey mistook Alice as my girlfriend when she made the rounds in the morning.
• I denied it. Then, I introduced her to Alice. “This is my girlfriend, Doctor Harper.”
• Alice nodded and smilingly remarked, “So it seems that my future cousin-in-law is really beautiful and has a good profession as well.”
• Zoey then hit me on the head with her medical clipboard. “He’s talking nonsense. I’m his high school classmate, and I’ve got a boyfriend who works in this hospital as a doctor. Don’t joke around anymore. If he hears it, I’ll have trouble explaining it to him.”
• “Why do you even want to explain, then? We’ll just get together.”
• Alice nodded solemnly. “That makes sense.”
• Zoey gestured as though she was about to hit me again. Then, she inquired about my symptoms before telling me that I could be discharged, for all that was left was just to change the dressing daily. Hence, I didn’t need to stay in the hospital and waste that money. She’d even prescribed me the medicine, so I only needed to come back a few days later for follow-up. After she’d left, I started on the discharge procedures. While Alice advised me to stay a few more days, I refused since it was a huge physical and mental torment to be in the hospital. When I was done with the discharge procedures and had bidden Zoey goodbye, Angelina came to the hospital to drive me home. Without having to ask about it, I knew that it must have been Alice who’d notified her.
• Upon reaching my apartment, Angelina and Alice positioned themselves on either side of me and helped me up the stairs. My soul felt very much nourished with two beauties, one older and the other younger, serving me. Before this, I never would’ve dared imagine such a scene. After being a gigolo, I’ve got both money and beautiful ladies. It’s quite a pleasant life and yielded results even faster than successful professionals!
• After we’d entered my bedroom, Angelina handed me a portable storage device before pulling Alice out of the room. I then vaguely heard her saying, “You’ll be watching them with him, and you can even grant him relief, but you’re absolutely not allowed to take his virginity. If I find out that he’d lost his virginity, Alice, I’ll definitely have your photos put up all over the entire village. Try me if you don’t believe it.” I was a smidge curious as I wondered what it was that Angelina wanted me to see that she was being so cautious.
• Thus, after she’d left, I ordered Alice to turn on the computer and plug in the portable storage device.
• “Huh? You want to watch them this early in the morning?” It was apparent that she knew what was in there. However, I had no idea, so how could I stand the curiosity within me? Subsequently, Alice then played the contents of the portable storage device when she could no longer stomach my urging.
• In the next instance, the beautiful, passionate, and vibrant music of Tokyo-Hot filled the room. I threw Alice a glance before glancing at the video that was playing on the computer screen, and I just couldn’t help covering my head with a pillow. “Angelina, you’re really killing me here!”
