• Time passed with a suffocating speed for Leonardo, who every day, felt more desperate for the reunion of him and Emma, whom he kept calling ‘his wife’, although a pungent taste was mixed in his mouth when he called her that way, because there was a singular voice in his head that told him that there was no certainty that she would continue being his wife, that she could already be someone else's wife without any problem, and if not, it was not too far off; it had been almost three full months since Emma had left his life, three months more, without counting the ten days he had been hospitalized... almost three months and ten days without being able to hear from her, looking for her without any result, he knew she had gone to another state, but he had no idea where to start. She never talked to him about the states she wanted to visit -only a few occasions she had told him she wanted to travel to some countries: France, Germany, United Kingdom... but never to which state she wanted to go, that's why he didn't know where to meet his love. That was the consequence of always talking about him when the two of them talked. ‘But she always listened to me, that's why she always talked about me’ he justified himself, missing her almost to the point of suffocation.
• Leonardo sighed in despair, he was on the bed, the therapy had gone wonderfully, he could walk almost perfectly, just not for very long distances, not yet. Not a day had gone by in which he did not long to have her by his side again, in which he did not long to hear her laughter, her clumsiness, her stuttering, her shyness...
• "Damn it!" he shouted, standing up and crashing his fists against the wall. He had lost count of the times he had called her on the phone, it was obvious that she had changed her number, but he kept dialing in the hope of hearing her sweet voice again, one he had not heard for three months; he would go crazy soon.
