• Sofia had not stopped looking at her the whole time they had shared together, as if she knew something about Emma that even the girl herself was not aware of.
• "What brings you here?" Emma's voice sounded agitated, moments before her friend arrived, she had wanted to cry, but had not been able to, she felt the emotions stuck in her throat, she felt that if Sofia touched a delicate subject, or even mentioned Leonardo's name, it would not be too easy for her to hold back her tears.
• Sofia looked at Emma from head to toe, perceiving how haggard she was, she had not written to her for about two months, without calling her, without wanting to hear from her, but she had received some news that she could not ignore, that was the reason why she was there, looking at Emma who seemed too agitated, nervous about something. Sofia's gaze fell slyly on the bag of food on that table, seeing the brand of expensive food, made her throat lump, because with that small detail she could almost confirm the news she had received.
