Chapter 65
- The house, it was a beautiful one - much larger than Emma had imagined. It looked elegant, and almost expensive; the girl knew that Liam's stepfather -one of her mother's former husbands, whom he considered more of a father than his own father- was a man, not rich, but as Emma liked to call him when she was at school, ‘He was the kind of man who wouldn't have to worry about money for a very long time.’
- "It's beautiful..." Emma murmured. During her cab ride, talking to Liam, surprisingly had helped her to forget about Leonardo for a few moments, but seeing that house -although it wasn't half as luxurious as the apartment where Leo lived; where he had made her his... made her think about him; her new challenge was, to try not to think about him for the next twenty-four hours.
- "I used to come on vacation here in my school days; it has a swimming pool, I used it a lot, and invited a lot of neighbors from around here, but my grandfather decided not to let anyone else use it, only me".
