Chapter 45

• Humming softly, Teegan opened her office door and stopped to take it in. She was so happy to be back at work, she couldn’t even express it. This would be the first time she came to work without stressing about crazy dreams or magic gone awry. It felt wonderful.
• “Good morning, beautiful.” Leland came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling into her body. “Are you sure you feel up to coming back to work?”
• Grinning, Teegan pulled out of his hold and went into her office. “I’m fine.” Setting her purse down, she shrugged off her jacket and tossed it on the couch. “I can’t sit at home another day, I’ll lose my mind.”
