Chapter 33
- Unable to fall back to sleep, Teegan tossed the covers aside and headed out to the kitchen. Most of the night had been spent flipping around the bed, awake more than asleep. The reason was dreams, but not of Alana and the others, this time it had been of Leland and her. They had been so real when she woke up, she thought she’d find him there in her bed. It was crazy. Whatever had happened when they’d shared magic seemed to be lingering. Either that or her hormones were out of control. Maybe a bit of both, she thought as she made her tea.
- The phone ringing startled her out of her thoughts. Taking her tea she grabbed the phone and settled on the couch as she answered it.
- Leland’s sleepy voice filled the earpiece. “Good morning.”
