Chapter 29
- Covering her mouth, Teegan tried to feel repentant. She looked from Wes and then to Lee. Both of them stood looking down at their shoes covered in dirt. When Wes had suggested she use a spell to manipulate the soil, she had doubts she would be able to do it for long. It had taken her four tries to get it to move in the first place. Of course when the whole chant she was to say struck her as funny, then the rising dirt had sprayed all over the place.
- Leland looked over at her. “You’re really hard on footwear aren’t you?”
- “Sorry,” she whispered.
