• I was moving silently through the kingdom, unseen by anyone, when I first spotted her. My line of work, if it could even be called that, had taken me around the world more times than I could count. She was my latest target. Concealed in the dense forest underbrush, I blended seamlessly with my surroundings. Her green eyes shone with innocence and joy. I couldn’t help but wonder, what kind of monster would order a hit on a child?
