Chapter 22

And for the first time in a long time he saw her face light up. The spark in her eyes was back. That beautiful smile was too. Her cheeks got that beautiful natural pink they always did when she was nervous that perfectly complemented her freckles. There was anyone more beautiful than her.
She then leaned over onto him and he hugged her.
He sat with her on the couch for some time till she fell asleep, which he did not want to move her. She had fallen asleep right against his chest and he debated hard to leave her be. To let her sleep right there with him. He loved it.
