Chapter 76 Free At Last

Monica's POV
Nothing but shear anger is evident in Callian's face as soon as I asked him about his uncle. It's shocking to know he's this way because someone made him so and that person is breathing which means we have so much in common. I didn't let mine live though .
" Don't talk about him" he says in one go and I twitch my mouth. Maybe I have to get closer to him again before we can talk about it. Talking about it makes him mad . I'm not letting him off for locking me up or sending me to my death but I don't want to rush. Callian has his own demons. The truth is, I'm not that mad at him. One look at him and all my anger dissipates. I guess Anika and I have that in common. Our love for this incredibly handsome and muscly man in front of me who looks like a Greek god.
