• It's the pack's mating season where everyone that has found their mate within one year presents them for blood feasting. It's the kind of ceremony that my pack looks forward to every year, and as usual, there's enough to eat and drink . Anika usually decorates the ancestral hall and I like to watch whenever she do. Its an important event, I supervise everything. As I walk around the hall , I notice that there are other florist that are handling the decorations. Anika isn't decorating this year I guess. Someone puts a hand around my waist and from the warmth from the touch I could tell whom they belong to .
• " Are we expecting a lot of people?" She asks and I furrow my brow . Is that even a question? She knows other packs are coming . I need to tighten security because of that and the royal challenge. King Dominic is known for playing dirty but I'm always prepared.
