• That was a good escape plan Monica came up with. I underestimated her. She would have gotten away if I didn't feel it through our bond as it was dwindling and a painful chest ache that woke me up from my sleep. The pain was agonizing. I didn't know the mate bond could inflict such pains. It's not something I want to experience again. I had to mind link the guards immediately I realized it's cause and I was told the intruder was gone .
