Chapter 54 Changes

• The worst thing has happened. Callan just bit me. He marked me. OMG. What have I done ? What do I do now? He's about to find out that I'm not Anika and it's Stephen's fault. I didn't mean to make him mad. I guess I was frustrated with him for confining me indoors. I touch the mark on my neck and then I look at a confused Callan whose eyes are locked on mine and I frown. His eyes are on my neck now and I glare at him for marking me without permission.
• " What did you do? My neck is bleeding?" I push him back but he wouldn't bulge . He's burying his head on my neck again before I knew what was happening. I put my hand on his chest to push him back again but a moan escapes my lips as I feel his tongue on my neck numbing the pain away. Subconsciously, I wrap my hands around him as he did so . The pain was gone and what I feel right now is an overwhelming surge of sparks.
