• Celine stared intensely at the locket in her hand while the carriage moved ahead. It has a picture of her and her precious child. Her end was near, she could feel it. Getting married would be the worst mistake of her life. She never should have allowed it. However, her desperation had gotten her into the situation she now finds herself.
• All of her peers were mated and some had given birth to many children. Celine on the other hand couldn’t seem to find anyone to mate her. Not because she lacked beauty or character. The goddess just seemed to have left her out of the happy living. Her father kept assuring her things would work out. But she could no longer take the mockery of her friends.
