• Fiona’s POV
• It took me five seconds after his question to realize my slip of the tongue. I gasped in shock covering my mouth. “I…..I am so so sorry Your Majesty. I didn’t mean what I said, it was sincerely a mistake. Forgive me please.” I mumbled quickly with my head bowed while I attempted to get up and kneel in front of him.
• Life has been hard for members of the Abian village for a long time. We have had to work twice as hard as many others just to make a living. Many times people complain about the king and his council of elders not caring about the poor folks. Without even realizing it, we have harbored hatred towards the king. If I knew I was going to sit with him soon, I would have kept my thoughts to myself and not said anything stupid.
