• It felt like forever since Fiona chose to walk out on me without accepting to hand over the child. I was hurt by her decision and after a while, I thought it was good for my relationship with Freya. However, the thought of my first-ever fruit being away from me made my heart ache every day. I couldn’t tell my thoughts to anyone except Dion.
• This was why it came as a shock and delight to me at the same time when Fiona finally reached out to say she would be the child bearer. I know it must have been a very hard decision for her to make before coming to that resolution. I had sent the guard from the last time to bring her back to the palace and ensure she was comfortable.
