• Fiona’s POV
• Celine is an absolute delight. She made me feel so comfortable that it felt like I had known her for ages. I never got the chance to get close with my biological mother the only woman that stands in that figure partially is Inna. Or so I like to believe. I struggled out of the bed feeling my legs cramped. Pregnancy is a different sensation on its own. It decides the mood one wakes up with every now and then.
• I looked out the window to see that it was late into the night. I remember telling Celine that I wanted to take a nap as she was about to leave. But it appears I slept longer than I planned. Silence enveloped the entire space. Isla must have gone out to play with the other maids. I envy how much she gets to move around at will.
