• Ronan’s POV
• I huffed, feeling exhaustion seep into my pores. But I didn't stop running, I needed to set myself loose from the thoughts plaguing my mind. I have been restless since I returned from Fiona’s place. Dion protested, urging me to quit running. I wanted to go further, but I apparently lacked the strength to do so.
• Giving in to my distorted state, I returned to the palace and dipped myself into the water already prepared for me. Shutting my eyes tightly to keep the raging thoughts out, but it didn’t help. Fiona looked extremely unhappy with me and I felt hurt that she didn’t give me a chance to explain myself before sending me out of the house.
