Freya felt restless as she paced Callum’s study back and forth. She wasn’t prepared for the way things turned out with Fiona. She let out a string of curses under her breath. The mistake she made was trusting Isla to do the job right. Her heart raced hard at the thought of Ronan already knowing who the culprit was. He hardly hides anything from her. As they spoke this morning, she couldn’t even read his eyes.
Callum opened the door to the study holding her gaze. “You need to hide quickly behind my chair and do your best to be quiet. Ronan is here.” He announced.
