• Author’s POV
• Callum stumbled into the house yelling out to his maids to get him the doctor. His side was bleeding profusely, he had been attacked during his run in the woods. His growl was more of vengeance than pain. Thankfully he was able to discharge his attacker because he wasn’t far from home yet.
• The doctor arrived and kept asking Callum where he got wounded and if it needed to be reported to the palace. Callum shunned him to keep quiet and do his job. The doctor did as told. He dressed the wound and left. Callum asked one of the maids to bring him a bottle of whiskey.
