• As time ticked away, the hands of the clock gradually reached 8:00 pm - a reminder that the day was slipping away. The nanny with a gentle demeanour, sat the little baby down on the plush carpet of the sitting room. With a warm smile she guided the tiny hands of the baby to clumsily grasp onto colourful playing building blocks scattered around.
• Meanwhile, Emily, with an air of curiosity in her eyes, observed the interaction between the nanny and the baby from her comfortable seat. As she watched, a sudden knock abruptly echoed through the air, prompting Emily to rise and purposefully walk towards the source of the disturbance - the front door. As she pushed the door open, it was Alice she saw standing and smiling at her.
