Chapter 10 Knot My Tie, Alice

• It was Tuesday morning and Damon arrived at his office. As usual, he has a reputation for being harsh and demanding, and his employees feared him that was why they did everything possible not to come late to work. He expected his new personal assistant, Alice, to be at the office before him, as he had instructed her that she continues her work the next day, being Tuesday. But as he walked into his office, he noticed that Alice was nowhere to be found.
• Damon's anger began to rise as he sat at his desk, waiting for Alice to arrive. He had important meetings scheduled for the day, and he needed his assistant to be there to help him prepare. He checked his watch and noticed that Alice was already 15 minutes late.
• Finally, Alice rushed through the door, flustered and out of breath. "I'm sorry sir" she said, panting. "There was an accident on the highway, and the traffic was terrible. I couldn't help it."
