• Hours had passed, it was already 8 pm. Damon was already done with his business meeting and he also attended to everything that needed his attention. He was packing his PC into his briefcase and was getting ready to leave when he heard a knock. He took his gaze towards the door, wondering who it was that had the guts to knock on his door without the receptionist informing before now.
• He didn't say a word and in the next moment, he watched the door pushed open and then, he saw Alice walk in. She greeted and walked towards the seat opposite his desk and sat there. Damon gazed up at her for some minutes but didn't say a word to her when suddenly, she broke the silence.
