• We planned all week; I couldn't go in blindly. This was a plan that Helga and Liam had spent years formulating. No last-minute ideas would do. I prayed that in the time Tegan was in his possession she was safe and hopefully she would not do anything rash. Helena said that they wouldn't do the ritual until the next blood moon, which gave us plenty of time to get a good plan going. The blood moon was still two weeks away, which gave me enough time to take down my local targets before rescuing my mate from our major target. All that mattered was their safety, nothing else. I would kill Liam where he stood for thinking he could harm my mate and child.
