• He didn't attack, nor did he force me to enlist in whatever it was he had going on. But I couldn't get over the fact that my mother had been alive this entire time and never once tried to locate any of her children. It wasn't like we were hidden from her, we were exactly where she had left us 20 years ago. All my life I thought I was the cause of her death but in reality she left us and never looked back. How do you explain that? There is nothing she could say that would make up for those years.
