Chapter 13 Want Me

• TEGAN'S P.O.V
• I decided to get some fresh air with what was swirling around in my mind. I haven't had a moment for myself since the day started. I just needed a moment to breathe, to take it all in. So much has happened in so little time. I took the ridiculous shoes off that I couldn't even walk straight in and made my way to the balcony door. I didn't have a balcony back at home.
• I quickly put the phone on the nightstand before opening the curtains to the balcony door and going out. As I stepped outside, the cool winter breeze sent a delightful shiver coursing through my body. I started to look around. I first opened the door that was out there, and, to my surprise, it led to a hot tub. I bet that it is nice to sit inside with the door open for the breeze to enter. I will have to try that out soon. I walked over to look over the edge of the railing. I was only two stories up, but it felt much higher. I leaned my head back with my eyes closed, enjoying the fresh air. When I opened them again, the room across the way was illuminated with light. The curtains on the doors were wide open. I felt like I was invading someone's privacy. When I chose to look elsewhere, it was when his beautiful face appeared behind the door. Ezra's room was right across from mine. My heart started pounding in my chest.
