• It all happened so fast. One minute I was walking down the rows of wolves, and then the next thing I knew my body was being flung across the yard. I was so close to the border of the woods, so close to being able to get to Iblis that it made me sick. I looked down as blood poured from my stomach. A branch sticking out that had impaled me from behind. It felt like my lungs were giving out on me. I couldn't breathe, I was gasping for air while also feeling like I was drowning in my own blood as it poured from my mouth.
