Chapter 164 Sybil's Story

  • EZRA'S P.O.V
  • It's been a month since we buried my mother and some of the fallen warriors who assisted. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how wrong it all went.
  • We managed to find the safe my mother stored away tightly and securely. It took a while to get into the damn thing too. But now the sword was safely stored away until we needed it. The gem, however, nobody knew where it was. Lucy insisted that it was in the kingdom, nearby. But we searched high and low for the damn thing and there was no sign of it. I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing though. The positive side to it was that if we couldn't find it with Lucy's sight, then maybe neither could Alex. If that were the case, then she wouldn't know where to find it, so we had time to dig into research on her origin. We were meeting up with a witch who could give us information about the originating witch, or maybe a descendant of said witch. We just have to hope that once they're located they'll be willing to help.
