• How did I let things get so messed up? He told me to get the kids and go, to protect them. Which was all I have ever done. So of course, that's what I would do. But I couldn't stop asking myself why I listened? Why didn't I ignore his request and protect him too? If I would've ignored him and fought Sibil head on, he'd probably still be here. But as much as I wanted to blame myself for what happened, the truth of the matter was, we were in immediate danger and I had to get us all out of sight.
