• I had been working day in and day out to get the Elders overruled. Uriah found a loophole that would allow me to choose who I wanted and dismantle the current Elders. The only downfall was the Elder's spots would have to be replaced. Unfortunately, there was no taking away the Elders' positions, but I could choose new ones in their stead.
• I also had been ignoring Tegan's calls. As much as it pained me to do, I knew if I answered she would say the words I wanted to ignore. There had to be a way for me to show Liam's true colors. I wouldn't give up that easily. I had been sending her flowers and letters, along with many texts. None of which she had replied to.
