• Her eyes opened as she stared up at the familiar ceiling of her bedroom in the Cabin. She was confused as to how she had gotten there until she looked over to see Ascelin’s arms wrapped around her waist loosely.
• She purred softly as she snuggled closer to her mate, feeling satisfied with the soreness in her entrance from their mating the night before. A part of her wished that Ascelin had marked her but, she knew that he didn’t want to risk her life, even if he was fully aware that she could take down a squad of highly trained shifters.
