Chapter 13 The Beginning

• Ascelin raced quickly towards Aessent’s lake until he saw her in the clearing bathing herself. She looked to be quite happy with what she was doing, and he snuck up from behind her in his wolf form and shifted quickly once he was behind her, and hugged her from behind, and he could hear the shocked grasp come from her as she flinched at the contact with him.
• “I promised I would come back Aessent, and here I am” he whispered softly into her ear. He felt her body instantly relax once she heard his voice and she looked over her shoulder to confirm it was Ascelin with her innocent piercing blue eyes. Her eyes always made him shiver for some reason and it made him only want her more since Aessent made him feel like a lost puppy and he almost enjoyed it as much as Vega did.
