Chapter 11 The Beginning

• He could just tell that Aessent was staring at him until she couldn’t see him anymore, and it hurt him to leave her alone again… but the way she smiled and laughed when they were messing around for the day made him realize that Vega was most definitely not lying about her being their mate.
• The entire time they had been together the urge to take her right then and there was significantly worse than it was before. He kept thinking of how her lips would feel against his and how she would grip him… he shook his head. This was not the time to get horny for a woman who presumably did not know the two of them were mates… he was going to regret the trip because when he’s forced to pack up he won’t be able to see her again for a very long time… unless he could convince her to join his pack, which wasn’t a bad idea, but he didn’t know how the pack would respond to an omega joining their pack, and what confused him was that she looked like an omega but didn’t give off the scent or aura of one. In fact, she gave off the scent of an Alpha. A powerful one at that, but she most definitely was not one from her simply being female, and it wasn’t possible since her fur was white.
