Chapter 28 The Midpoint

• She stretched her body to get used to the feeling of it once more as her smaller form was five foot three inches and her true form was a little over a foot taller at a staggering six foot five inches. After a bit, she was ready to leave, and Vega and she started jogging to her cave, along the way, they discussed a lot of things that she couldn’t talk about with Ascelin.
• A part of her was starting to grow on Vega, and he had qualities that Ascelin didn’t have that she liked. Whenever she wasn’t comfortable with something Vega would push her to do it if he felt like she was able to. The bookstore was a good example of this. She originally thought it was a large library of sorts, but Vega had filled her in on what it was and encouraged her to explore, which she had agreed to somewhat quickly. Vega had also been the one to assure her that Ascelin would be gentle with her when they tried to have sex, but she herself didn’t realize she was internally panicking, and Vega had been the one to tell her to say the safe word.
