Chapter 68
- Damian was alone. As soon as Lilian closed the door behind her, he looked up from his laptop. He sighed and relaxed into his chair. He was hurt; something that he had never felt before. When he saw Lilian and Sean kissing so passionately he felt a stab in the chest. Initially, it felt like a game between him and Sean and he was amused seeing him try his luck to get Lilian's attention and now that he had gotten it, Damian felt like a loser.
- He closed his laptop and paced around his room with his arm in the sling. He was getting better now and could even manage quite well without the sling. As he thought about Lilian, his skin came alive with her touches. His skin suddenly began to recall every graze and light touch, every intentional pressure. He could still feel her hand lightly graze his bulge when she was trying to help him buckle his belt. He could still feel her gentle fingers brushing against him as she helped him undress. His room all of a sudden felt cold and empty without her presence. What was he doing? What was he feeling? He loved her. He was in love with her and the sight of her with Sean, the hurt he was feeling was jealousy. It felt so raw and refreshing. That was why he was so eager to let Sean take leave for a few days. He didn't want him hovering around her. She was his.
- Damian sat on his bed with his head in his hand. He hated what he felt. It felt foreign. He had never cared about any woman in his life. He lay down on his bed and looked at the ceiling. All he could think about was Lilian. Initially after seeing them kiss, he headed back to his room and was furious. He couldn't think straight. He had a cold shower to clear his mind and allowed Lilian to go and see Antonio because he needed to be alone and think. He then buried himself in working as another antidote to his emotional rollercoaster but it was invigorated when she came back.
