Chapter 35

• Lilian woke up with a start. She had a better night's sleep than she had the previous nights. She looked at her clock. It was past 8. Wow. She had really slept in late. She tried to stand up but she was still very weak. She decided that the best thing for her to do at the moment was rest. Soon she heard a cheery knock on her door. It was Gwen.
• "Morning Lilian."
• "Hey, Gwen. Are you supposed to be in today?" She didn't really know Gwen personally before now but she knew her face well enough to know that she wasn't on duty on Thursdays.
