Chapter 14

• Damian got dressed and lay on his bed, his head spinning. Was he angry that Lilian teased him? Yes, he was but it wasn't that big a deal. He looked at his watch. It was past 1. He looked out the window and saw that the sky was looking beautiful and bright. Maybe he would go on a stroll. He had been cooped up at home for a while and hadn't had a little leisure time. He got up and dressed properly. A pair of casual jeans and a black shirt would do perfectly. He asked the driver to prepare his BMW and that he was going into the countryside. He also asked the chef to prepare an early lunch for him–and Lilian. He was taking her along with him. She hadn't left his house for the past four months she had been his maid, except on days that he took her to work.
• It was settled. He was taking the she-devil out with him. The chef brought lunch for Damian and he took the other tray to Lilian who was surprised to have lunch brought to her so early. She however ate happily. She loved Antonio's cooking. She ate and as soon as she had finished. She heard a voice from the other side of the door.
• "Get dressed. We're heading out." Then the voice said gruffly. Lilian was shocked. She still had a mouthful of food. She swallowed it hard and almost choked. She didn't know what to expect. She kept the plate back in the tray and sat on the bed, thinking. She didn't want to go out with him. What was he up to now?
