Chapter 42
- That evening, after Miki had left and I had chosen a mint-green organic hemp blanket for Amelia's baby at the market, I went throughout the rented villa, opening closets and looking into every crevice. Since my passion is reporting, I'm naturally incredibly interested. Well, inquisitive.
- All that remains of Miki are a few pricey suits tucked away in a wardrobe, and a few pairs of underwear and gym attire stashed in a bureau drawer. - The idea kills me. Only a little time remains. A few weeks. And they will now be apart for three days. But I'd like to know if he's open to something more after our earlier talk.
