• I'm in love with Miki for his kindness to Hanna. Miguel and I get up and walk over.
• "Thank you, everyone. I'm sure Miguel would love to chat later. I have some more good news. Today I heard from the Press Association. The Times won six awards this year, including a public service award for our series on the city's law enforcement corruption scandal."
• The atmosphere in the room has changed to almost the point of being happy, which is something I haven't felt at the paper in months. I look at Miki and I fight back a giggle as I list the prizes. He's grinning that sultry, amused smile.
