Chapter 32

• I looked out over the balcony to see the river. I became fascinated by the ships that floated across the Mississippi. They almost seem like ghost ships in the night as the dark sky camouflaged them into see through shadows. Tiny sparkles of smoke blew in the air as car headlights shown below us on the street. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn't see a young girl walk up next to me.
• "So you the one dating Evan McCain?" The girl looked at me disgusted waiting on my response.
• "We are just friends."
