Chapter 9 " I Thought About Your Words

• It was past 9 am when Rebecca opened her eyes. She felt a strong headache and body aches. Her heart raced as she noticed a stranger lying next to her, and she quickly realized that they were both naked. Startled, she jumped out of bed when she saw the man next to her, turning away, but still asleep. Rebecca quickly put on her dress, grabbed her purse, cellphone, shoes, and the car key she spotted on the table, and left the room, leaving only her lingerie scattered on the floor, such was her desire to get out of there. In the elevator, she came across a notification of a $30,000 transfer from her account, in the name of Pietra Dickinson.
• "But what the hell is this? What did I do?" she questioned aloud. She reached the reception and checked out, asking the receptionist, "Does Pietra Dickinson work here?"
• "Yes," the receptionist replied.
