• The next morning, Alex opens his eyes, only to be greeted by the emptiness in his arms. The absence of Rebecca in bed makes him sigh and run his hands over his face, feeling slightly disappointed. However, an irresistible aroma of coffee filling the room renews his spirits, and an excited smile creeps onto his lips, suggesting that she must be in the kitchen.
